Gospel of Mark - Chapter One - The Coming of the New Age

THE COMING OF THE NEW AGE (I)

This is the good news about Nikola Tesla: the son of Reverend Milutin and Djouka Tesla, founder of the New Age of Invention and the Epoch of Rapid Evolution and Change.
Throw out all tradition! Let’s find out whether these teachers and gurus and sages have really helped the people and if they haven’t, then throw the bums out!
This is the good news of the Father of Electricity, the Mother of Radio, the Herald of free and universal power without wires. Tesla, Man from the Future, a signpost pointing the way to the glorious triumph of progress and innovation. Tesla’s wisdom can raise humanity out of the muck of our past and out into the glorious universe of our future.
Nikola Tesla invented far more than devices. He invented a new world with the might of his imagination. Tesla is the new Christ, symbol of a new covenant not between man and god, that old, patriarchal paradigm, but between humanity and the universe. Jesus is the past—Tesla is the future.
Tesla is a modern Prometheus, beating back the primordial darkness once and for all and elevating us all into the light of the Age of Electricity—the necessary progenitor of all that has come in its wake.
Centuries ago, Jehovah and Jesus represented the height of human progress. Jehovah’s strength brought order to chaos and Jesus’s love brought compassion which led over centuries to human rights. Effective in their time, they acted as symbols, taming the wildest heart of our animal natures.
The time of imaginary gods has passed. The Age of Myth has been usurped by the Future Age of Progress and Change—an age ushered in and attributable to Nikola Tesla—the first Anointed King of all that will come after.
The God Jehovah, himself a product of our invention, declared humanity’s fall the moment we plucked the Fruit of Knowledge from the Tree. Here, in its first moments, religion embraced ignorance. God threw us all from the Garden of Eden for the crime of curiosity and the desire to seek new knowledge.
Now, we know why.
Those who invented the myth of God knew a man like Tesla would come to slay him if left unchecked.
Our ancient fear of death and change has held humanity back for centuries. That fear has come to be mitigated somewhat by the sparkling light of Tesla’s electricity and the glow of his florescent lamps. Fear can no longer hold back the flood of the future, the coming of the new—of nonstop invention and novelty and mutation. The future is here all around us at every moment. Rejoice and be merry! We’ve been released from the bonds of our past—the old gods and old ways are dead. The only constant is inconstancy. Change must be embraced, enfolded into ourselves like the true life-source it is and has always been.
Like a modern John the Baptist, Friedrich Nietzsche baptized the world in the good news of God’s death and now we celebrate his rebirth into a new creature, not of judgment, but of infinite invention, mutation and progress. Tesla did not come as a result of our fantasies or our imagination. Tesla was a simple man, flawed and remarkable in equal measure—a man who could, nevertheless, see through the world in a way no one has since.
But despair not, for Tesla’s true legacy has been accomplished. He came to tell us all: THOU ART GOD!
As Tesla said, “For ages this idea has been proclaimed in the consummately wise teachings of religion, probably not alone as a means of insuring peace and harmony among men, but as a deeply founded truth. The Buddhist expresses it in one way, the Christian in another, but both say the same: We are all ONE.”
Nikola Tesla foretold not just a new age, but an entirely new vision of ourselves and our relationship to the universe. Like children tell lies for their own protection, humans have been living their lives for centuries with the training wheels of God.
Tesla has shown us how to throw off childish things and has revealed the ultimate secret of our Creator: WE ARE IT!
Rejoice!
Thou art that creator too—and you always have been. As Tesla generated electrical motors to run the world that came in his wake, so too did we generate God!
In Tesla’s new age, we bow only to ourselves. Not to individuals, but to the whole of humanity. Tesla came as a prophet not of a God, for God is dead. Nor did Tesla come as any other deity—such ideas are stories for children. Instead, Tesla is the prophet of humanity and the power of selfless imagination, progress and change—the prophet of transformation and evolution.
Like the imaginary Christ before him, Tesla offers a new testament. Not one based on faith and slavish devotion to fantasy, but a whole new age, based on science and progress and optimism and invention and most of all, the NEW.
Tesla realized in his time the world couldn’t handle all he could teach us. He knew our understanding would come eventually, but first, we needed to come to a far better appreciation of our true place in the scheme of the universe. He gave us as much as we could handle.
As Tesla said when referring to the lessor inventors who stole the credit for his ideas, “Let the future tell the truth, and evaluate each one according to his work and accomplishments. The present is theirs; the future, for which I have really worked, is mine.”
Now, the time has come to proclaim the truth we were not prepared to hear during Tesla’s lifetime. The truth that: WE ARE, EVERY ONE OF US, GODS.
Each of us, every animal, every plant and insect—all are God. Every stomach flora and bacteria, every tree, every rock and every whiff of gas—it’s all God. God is not separate from us. God is not the Father or the Son or the Mother or the Daughter. God is ALL that is and ALL that is, is God.
The old God, the God of the Old Aeon, that God is an affront to invention, a cosmic Thomas Edison created by humanity to steal the credit (and often the blame) that we rightfully deserve.
Jesus might’ve died for our sins, but did forgiving your sins keep you warm when you were cold? Did forgiveness of your slights to God bring light to where before you saw only darkness? Did Jesus show us the miracle of radio or radar or x-rays? Did he bring us medicine or airplanes or the printing press?
No. He didn’t. He might’ve brought Lazarus back from the dead, but he taught humanity nothing about how to prevent disease.
Tesla’s inventions, what he gave to us, those miracles matter. Those miracles made the world a better place. The things Tesla created in his laboratory did something tangible to make every single person on this planet’s life better in a concrete, measurable way. He offered not some theoretical heaven, but a better existence here, in this life, on this planet. And, unlike God and Jesus, Tesla asked for no followers, he held no disciples, he required no faith and no tithe. Tesla died poor.
Selflessly, Tesla pulled us up out of the morass of darkness and took comparably nothing for the gift. Think of those financial titans who rule the world. Did one of them, even one, offer even a single invention of Tesla’s caliber? No. Yet they take so much and he took so little.
Tesla performed miracles witnessed not by a select group of twelve men hiding out together in the desert, but for every man, woman and child on earth. Jesus helped only the people he came in contact with—Tesla’s miracles helped not just those whom he met, but everyone else too, not just during his lifetime, but going forward into eternity.
Electricity doesn’t judge. It doesn’t care about the color of your skin, your gender, your age, your accent, your country of birth, your sexuality, your social security number or your IQ. It works the same, for good or for ill, for everyone. This is the gift Tesla gave us and its worth exceeds that of all of Christ’s miracles combined and cubed.
Jesus might’ve offered a better deal in an afterlife that might not exist. But Tesla brought light to this world, the only one we can truly know without crossing the veil into death.
Mighty Tesla brought us out of the darkness not metaphorically, but literally. The future sprouted from his head and grew like a weed, encompassing the world, changing it and making it a less scary place.
The time for hand-holding is over. The time for submission to outdated moralities and fools has ended. The trumpets have blown. Humanity is alone and our fate is in no one’s hands but our own. We’ve got no one to blame or celebrate—but ourselves.
Rejoice!
Tesla has pushed us out of the cosmic nursery. It is about time we started taking responsibility for ourselves.
Nietzsche told the world ‘God is dead.’
Tesla rose from God’s corpse and made it new. A self-made Superman, Nikola Tesla accomplished as much for humanity as any three Greek gods of antiquity. He was Zeus, Pandora and Prometheus combined. A human created to perform wonders—he fulfilled his potential beyond our ability to appreciate.
When man one day reaches space and looks down on the lighted cities of the earth—those lights are there because of Tesla. Every single one stands as a monument to his greatness and a shrine to his memory.
“God said, ‘Let Tesla be,’ and there was light. He said, ‘I will send my messenger ahead of you to open the way for you.’”
Someone is shouting in the desert, Get the road ready for Tesla; make a straight path for him to travel!
